I arrived and the doctor was on the 3rd floor, I am handicapped after spinal surgery and climbing 3 flights of stairs is not ideal when I have a problem walking. It was not clearly indicated that this would be the case at the particular DocTap office. I received the notes from the doctor, but it does not correspond with the conversation during the consultation.. When the doctor gave his diagnosis, I had asked if I should go to hospital immediately or if it would be ok to wait until I'm back in Amsterdam on Thursday. This was apparently ok, until I received the doctors notes where it says " He declines and says he will go to the Netherlands tomorrow night and access urgent care there, understands this is against medical advice" & " He declines me requesting an x-ray, Still underlined importance of seeking urgent medical attention" I have to make it clear that at no point did I decline his medical advice or did he request or offered me an x-ray, he advised me to go to the hospital to have it done and seek treatment, I asked if it would be ok to do so on my return to Amsterdam, if the doctor had advised me to go immediately and I would have done so. As it transpires, the situation has grown rapidly worse with my elbow turning purple. I am at the emergency room having it seen to now. The doctor was pleasant enough, but I do have a problem with the notes suggesting I declined suggested urgency, an X-ray etc.

Absolutely unhelpful visit. Wonderful way to scam tourist out of money by making them think that you can help and then denying them to help they need.
