Our doctors can issue prescriptions for all standard medicines. Our clinics stock the most commonly prescribed drugs so that you can take them away with you immediately, without even having to go to a pharmacy.
Getting your medication with DocTap is even quicker and easier than using an online GP. Just as importantly, our longer, in person consultations allows your doctor to carry out a thorough examination where required. In this way they are better able to determine the correct treatment for you and your condition. Our doctors are also able to prescribe most medications from a telephone consultation; in this situation, your prescription will be sent to a pharmacy of your choice for you to collect at your convenience.

Dr. Becker has been understating and extremely helpful. After trying to book various appointments with my normal NHS GP and once again being unable to get the appointments. Can't recommend this place enough. Dr Ayomide Noah was fantastic. Thorough, meticulous, professional. So glad I found her. Getting an appointment was simple and I was seen the same morning. The pharmacy staff was helpful and professional. Wait time was short and the whole visit from check-in to check-out was only 45- minutes. My wife and I are visiting from the USA and, of course, I had the nerve to get pneumonia. So if you're a tourist and need immediate medical care, this is it.

Spent over an hour on hold this morning with my own local surgery. Doubtless, even if i had got through they would have offered me an appointment in a couple of weeks time. Eventually gave up. Discovered DocTap, took literally 1 minute to book and appointment online for this afternoon. My first time going private. Conveniently located 20 mins from where i live. Doctap office was clean and professional. Staff lovely and Doctor efficient and competant. Made me feel very welcome. Got sorted and issued with a prescription on site. Done in 15 mins. Goes against all my principals but Brillaint service. Like most, I only really need to access a doctor once or twice a year. So for the price and peace of mind would 100% recommend these guys.

I have seen Dr Noah once 2 years ago and was impressed how thorough she is. I wanted a general check up this time and wouldn't go anywhere else. As for DocTap, the process is easy and straightforward. A great advantage is being able to see someone straightaway when needed, because even with other private clinics it is sometimes awfully difficult to get an appointment.

Dr Daanyal Khan was exceptional. Complex history relating to a head injury. Dr listened closely and was very helpful. Consultation notes and referrals followed within a few hours and were an incredibly detailed and accurate summary of a difficult session. Can't recommend this doctor highly enough.

Quick and efficient process with an attentive doctor that listened and understood the ailments being described, and effectively and clearly explained a course of treatment to help. The premises in Clapham are great. They're clean and modern, but the only reason I'm giving 4 stars and not 5, is that three flights of stairs with chronic lower back pain is a real struggle! Otherwise the staff, check in process and treatment were all first class!

Prescription Medication Prices
We do not charge for issuing prescriptions. You will simply pay for the cost of the medication. Unlike NHS prescriptions, you do not pay the NHS charge of £9.35 per item. Instead, the price you pay will depend on the cost of the particular medicine. For most common drugs this will be about the same as what you would pay with the NHS.
Unless you request otherwise, your doctor will prescribe the cheaper generic version of a drug where available. Should you wish to have a particular branded alternative then please advise the GP during your consultation.
