About Borderline Personality Disorder
Personality disorders encompass a variety of mental health issues which are sometimes difficult to diagnose and can be missed.
It is very difficult to define this condition as symptoms can be very subtle and variable. There is often overlap between symptoms of other conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders, post traumatic stress disorder, eating disorders and mania to name a few.

Symptoms of Borderline Personality Disorder
Features may include impulsive behaviour, unpredictability, inappropriate sudden outbursts of anger, feeling of loneliness, confused identity and goals, instability of interpersonal relationships etc.

Treatment of Borderline Personality Disorder
Once a Psychiatrist diagnoses this condition, the treatment may involved either psychotherapy such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), counselling or other forms as deemed appropriate by the specialist.
They might also prescribe medications for treatment of other psychiatric comorbidities such as depression, anxiety etc.
