Your GP appointment shouldn’t end on a cliffhanger.

On-site labs mean key blood results can be ready sooner, giving your GP more information to explain what’s going on and advise on next steps there and then.

What makes Test & Treat different

From sample to next steps, without the usual back and forth

Test & Treat is DocTap’s rapid blood test and GP review appointment. Your sample is taken when you arrive, processed in our on-site lab, and reviewed with a GP in the same visit.

Results while you wait.
Key blood results are processed on site, in around 10-15 minutes.
Reviewed with a GP.
Your doctor explains what the results mean and puts them into context.
Clearer next steps.
If treatment, prescriptions, follow-up or further testing are needed, your GP can talk this through there and then.
Not just a result.
You leave with answers, context and a plan, not numbers to interpret on your own.
Available at five London clinics.
Test & Treat is available at selected DocTap clinics with on-site labs.

What’s included

Your Test & Treat blood panel

Test & Treat includes full blood count, liver function, kidney function, glucose, triglycerides, cholesterol and CRP tests. You can add HbA1c or a tiredness profile if required.

Full blood count

Can help explain symptoms such as feeling wiped out, feverish or unusually tired, by checking for signs of infection, anaemia or inflammation.

Liver function

Useful if you’ve been drinking more than usual, take regular medication, feel generally unwell, or your GP wants to check whether your liver needs further investigation.

Kidney function

Helps your GP decide whether dehydration, kidney strain or certain medicines could be relevant, and whether closer monitoring or follow-up is needed.

Glucose, triglycerides & cholesterol

Looks at blood sugar and blood fats, helping your GP assess diabetes risk, raised cholesterol and wider metabolic health.

CRP

Can support your GP’s judgement on inflammation or infection, including whether symptoms are more likely to need treatment, monitoring or safety-netting.

HbA1c (optional add-on)

Useful if you are concerned about type 2 diabetes or want a longer-term view of your average blood sugar.

Tiredness profile (optional add-on)

Adds thyroid function and ferritin, which can help investigate tiredness, low mood, weight change, breathlessness, hair changes or low iron.
