Prescriptions, referral letters, sick notes, fit notes and standard medical letters issued during your appointment are included in the consultation fee. Tests, scans, medicines and some additional services are charged separately. Laboratory test prices exclude the £20 handling fee and appointment fee.

No. DocTap is not a continuous 24-hour GP service. We provide evening and weekend GP care, with online appointments available on Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays and clinic availability varying by location and date.

DocTap is appropriate for many non-life-threatening health concerns that need GP assessment. Call 999 or go to A&E if someone is seriously ill or injured and their life may be at risk. If you need urgent medical help but it is not life-threatening and DocTap is unavailable, call NHS 111.
- What does out-of-hours GP mean?
Out-of-hours GP care means seeing a doctor outside usual weekday working hours, for example in the evening, at the weekend or on a bank holiday.
