Dr Anna Hourmouzios
General Practitioner- MBBS MRCPCH DRSRH MRCGP
Dr. Anna Hourmouzios has a true passion for helping people, and it shows in her work. She's been a familiar face in the London NHS since graduating from UCL medical school in 2008. Before becoming a GP, she specialized in paediatrics, and she still has a special place in her heart for child health. She also holds a diploma in sexual and reproductive healthcare and loves to share her knowledge by teaching other medical professionals.
Dr Alex Chitra
General Practitioner- MBBS MRCS MRCGP
Dr. Alex Chitra brings over 15 years of general practice experience to our team. After training at the Royal Free Hospital in London, he worked in a variety of hospital settings, gaining valuable experience in women's and children's health before becoming a GP. Dr. Chitra enjoys the full scope of family medicine, with a special focus on ENT, Dermatology, and Musculoskeletal medicine. He is committed to providing comprehensive care to his patients.
Dr Laura Mindel
General Practitioner- MRCGP
Dr Mindel graduated from University College London in 2008. After qualification she worked at Chelsea and Westminster and West Middlesex Hospital, before completing her GP training in South London. She has a particular passion for family medicine, women’s health and child health. Dr Mindel has a post graduate diploma in women’s health and an interest in medical education, teaching at a London Medical School. Outside of work she enjoys being with her young family, playing tennis and travelling.
Dr Joseph Blunt
General Practitioner- MRCGP
Dr Joey Blunt has degrees from the University of Cambridge, and the University of Manchester, where he ranked 1st of 400 candidates in the medical sciences examinations. He subsequently trained in North West London and now works in the NHS and privately. He has an interest in all areas of General Practice, and takes a particular interest in the management of diabetes and cholesterol, as well as Men's health.
Dr Daphne Dhas
General Practitioner- MRCGP
Dr Das qualified as a GP in 2019, having previously worked in accident and emergency , general surgery and orthopaedics. She has worked in both NHS and private settings. Dr Das has a special interest in Dermatology and has a post graduate diploma in Clinical dermatology. She is also trained at looking at skin lesions using a dermatoscope which is a tool used in assessing different types of lesions.

Frequently asked questions
- What’s the difference between an online GP and an online doctor?
For most people, they mean the same thing – a UK-registered GP you see by video instead of in a clinic. At DocTap, your online GP is the same calibre of doctor you’d see face-to-face in our London clinics.
- How do I join a video consultation?
When you log into your DocTap portal, your upcoming appointment will appear on the main screen with a ‘Join’ button. Please click this button and wait for the doctor to join the call.
- I have been waiting but the doctor has not joined the call. What should I do?
Occasionally, the doctor may be delayed in joining your video consultation. If this happens, please remain on the call - they will join as soon as possible. Alternatively, the doctor will try to reach you on your provided contact number.
- What do I do if my video consultation is not connecting?
If you encounter any technical issues when joining a video call, please contact our support team on 020 7183 3254, and a member of our team will be happy to assist you.
- How will I receive my prescription following an online or telephone appointment?
You'll receive an SMS from SignatureRX with a code to collect your prescription from elegible pharmacies. Most pharmacies dispense SignatureRX prescriptions.
- Can I get controlled medications prescribed from a video or telephone appointment?
DocTap can not prescribe ANY addictive medications during a video appointment. These can only be prescribed in face-to-face consultations.
- Can I get a letter in an online or telephone consultation?
Yes, provided they do not need to perform a physical examination, our doctors can write letters based on a video consultation.
- Can I have a telephone consultation for a sexual health issue?
Yes, you are welcome to discuss sexual health concerns with our doctors during your virtual appointment. If any tests are recommended, these will be charged to you during the consultation and you will then be directed to our partner laboratory’s sample collection centre. A £25 phlebotomy fee will apply for this service. If your doctor determines that a physical examination is necessary, they will advise you to schedule an in-person appointment at one of our clinics.
