Our doctors can issue prescriptions for all standard medicines. Our clinics stock the most commonly prescribed drugs so that you can take them away with you immediately, without even having to go to a pharmacy.
Getting your medication with DocTap is even quicker and easier than using an online GP. Just as importantly, our longer, in person consultations allows your doctor to carry out a thorough examination where required. In this way they are better able to determine the correct treatment for you and your condition. Our doctors are also able to prescribe most medications from a telephone consultation; in this situation, your prescription will be sent to a pharmacy of your choice for you to collect at your convenience.

First time using the DocTap and it was straight forward and easy to use. Super fast getting an appointment to speak with a GP [had appointment in 30 mins] Dr Mehra was very thorough and professional and helped with a referral for an MRI scan which I managed to organise and have on he same day. I would definitely use them again if I needed quick urgent / responsive consultation than wait for my local practice.

Highly recommend DocTap service. The appointments are easy to get (even with the same doctor) and flexible in terms of time/cost as well as location. I would recommend Dr Kumar who put me at ease and took the time to listen and help without me ever feeling rushed or judged. I have been attending for 3 months and will be keeping Dr Kumar as my regular GP. Also great you can get blood tests and antibiotics directly in the room so is super easy and efficient!

It was brilliant to use, the doctor had a sense of humour and seemed to actually think about my medications rather than just being and flexible. Ordered my medication and was able to pick them up almost immediately absolutely brilliant will use again.

I was able to book an appointment for when I wanted, I got enough time to explain symptoms and be checked over and I was prescribed medicine which I received on site so I didn’t have to go to the pharmacy. Value for money was excellent.

I had the good fortune of being seen by Dr. Nitan Mehra again. I have been seeing General Practitioners for over 45 years, I can say with certainty that Dr. Mehra, has the most amazing (in depth), medical knowledge, ( even surpassing all the other mediocre GPs I have encountered to date), he’s quite an affable fellow as well.

The GP was excellent! Any time I make a booking I will be glad to have THE SAME DOCTOR ( Dr Hourmouzios) SHE WAS ABSOLUTELY SUPERB IN HER ADVICE . SHE IS VERY EXPERIENCED AND SHE DEMONSTRATED IT . Her explanations actually corroborated a few findings that I have made about myself in the past recent & distant past . A good example of her class and dexterity as a GP is that while the video-doctor suggested an almost- mandatory change of my BP medication (Amlodipine) as solution, she was quick to understand that for now it was not likely to be the cause because I have taken it for more than 15yrs and it will not suddenly cause such a swelling overnight .Other factors ( too detailed to list ) also made me to realise how good she is as a GP # Very-good-experience-!

Prescription Medication Prices
We do not charge for issuing prescriptions. You will simply pay for the cost of the medication. Unlike NHS prescriptions, you do not pay the NHS charge of £9.35 per item. Instead, the price you pay will depend on the cost of the particular medicine. For most common drugs this will be about the same as what you would pay with the NHS.
Unless you request otherwise, your doctor will prescribe the cheaper generic version of a drug where available. Should you wish to have a particular branded alternative then please advise the GP during your consultation.
