Supporting student wellbeing
Prompt GP care
Common illnesses can disrupt learning, especially when students are away from home or unable to access a GP quickly.
Healthcare for international and boarding students
Students living away from home may be unfamiliar with the UK healthcare system or unable to rely on family support when they become unwell.
Support for mental wellbeing
Stress, anxiety, low mood and sleep problems can all affect a student's wellbeing and academic performance.
Medication and prescriptions
Students may need ongoing medication, prescription reviews or help continuing treatment while studying.
Medical letters and certificates
Some situations require medical documentation, whether for travel, academic requirements or mitigating circumstances.
Looking beyond the symptoms
When symptoms don't improve or the cause isn't clear, further investigation may be needed before treatment can move forward.
A better way to support student wellbeing
Give students fast access to trusted private healthcare for everyday medical concerns, with same-day GP appointments available seven days a week and support that extends beyond the consultation, helping minimise disruption to their studies.
