Biography

Hi, I’m Chloe. I am a BACP-registered counsellor and psychotherapist and a counselling psychologist in the final year of my doctoral training in counselling psychology. I take a psychology-informed, relational and integrative approach to therapy, supporting clients through emotional and psychological difficulties, relationship challenges and significant life transitions.

I have experience working with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, psychosomatic symptoms, mood difficulties, speech difficulties, relationship and intimacy issues, break-ups, limerence, divorce, workplace stress and burnout. I also have experience supporting clients who have experienced physical, psychological or relational trauma.

I welcome clients from diverse backgrounds and am committed to providing an inclusive, culturally sensitive, LGBTQ+ and neuro-affirming practice. I aim to meet each person as an unique individual, with curiosity and without judgement, recognising that your experiences, relationships and circumstances as deeply personal.

I see therapy as a collaborative journey. My aim is to offer a safe and accepting space where you can speak openly about whatever is troubling you, while also providing thoughtful challenge and psychological insight where this may be helpful. Clients often describe me as a particularly attentive listener, with an ability to notice subtle cues and nuances that may otherwise go unnoticed. These small details can sometimes open up new perspectives and become important starting points for deeper therapeutic work.

My conversational style is warm, intuitive and insightful. I use active listening and thoughtful questions to help you slow down, reflect and develop a deeper understanding of yourself. I believe meaningful therapeutic change can develop through an active dialogue in which we explore not only what is happening in your life, but also how you relate to yourself, others and the choices available to you.

Three themes particularly guide my work:

Clarity
I will help you develop greater clarity about your thoughts, feelings and patterns of behaviour. Together, we can explore automatic or reactive ways of responding and consider whether they continue to serve you, creating greater space to respond more intentionally.

Purpose
Therapy can provide an opportunity to explore what genuinely matters to you. We can examine your values, needs and aspirations, and consider how these might provide a stronger sense of direction and meaning in your life.

Transformation
Insight is an important beginning, but I am also interested in what happens beyond the therapy room. I will support you in translating what you discover in therapy into meaningful changes in how you live, relate and make decisions. For me, the value of therapy ultimately lies in its relevance to your life outside our sessions.

I offer therapy both online and in person. I work at DocTap at London Bridge on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 1:30-5:30pm.

In terms of duration, I am happy to work either in a focused, shorter-term way or through longer-term, open-ended therapy. There is no assumption that therapy needs to follow one particular format, and we can discuss what may be most appropriate for you at the beginning of our work together.

I also believe that therapy progress should be regularly reviewed. We will therefore take time throughout our work to consider how therapy is progressing, what is proving helpful and whether our way of working continues to meet your needs. When the time is right to finish, I will work with you towards a thoughtful and supportive ending.
