Dr Kavetha Sundaram is a General Practitioner who is dedicated to providing patient-centred care with a focus on long term wellbeing and prevention. She completed her medical degree at St George’s University of London with a merit in clinical practice, alongside a first-class honours degree in embryology and reproductive sciences. Her postgraduate training has taken her through some of London’s most renowned teaching hospitals, including King’s College, St Thomas’, and the Imperial College Healthcare Trust.
With a background that spans emergency medicine for both adults and children, as well as psychiatry and general surgery, Kavetha is well-equipped to support patients through a wide variety of health concerns. She has a particular passion for women’s and sexual health, holding advanced diplomas from both the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare. She is highly experienced in reproductive care, including cervical smears and the removal of contraceptive coils.
Kavetha is also deeply interested in medical education, having served as an anatomy demonstrator and clinical skills tutor for medical students. This experience has refined her ability to explain medical information clearly, ensuring that her patients feel fully informed and empowered to make decisions about their own health. She also has a keen interest in menopause management and skin health, having undertaken specialised training in dermoscopy to better assess skin concerns.
