Biography
Dr Lakshmi Kumar is a highly regarded General Practitioner who has earned a reputation for her empathetic and thorough approach, reflected in the exceptional feedback she receives from her patients. She believes that the foundation of great healthcare is a genuine care for people from every background and takes immense pride in supporting her patients through all stages of life.
Her medical career began at Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry, where she graduated in 2011. During her time there, she showed a keen interest in mental health, serving as the president of the student psychiatry society. As a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners, Lakshmi has spent over a decade gaining versatile experience across many busy London hospitals and clinics.
Dr Kumar’s clinical background is extensive, with specialised experience in psychiatry, obstetrics and gynaecology, and gastroenterology. She also holds a particular interest in ear, nose, and throat (ENT) medicine, as well as dermatology and aesthetic medicine. This breadth of experience allows her to offer well-rounded support for a wide range of health concerns, from mental wellbeing to skin health.
Outside of the clinic, Lakshmi has a deep appreciation for the arts and has performed classical Indian dance and singing at a national level for over a decade. She is also an adventurous spirit and a qualified advanced diver. At the practice, she is dedicated to providing personalised, evidence-based care that focuses on her patients' long-term health and comfort.
