Biography
Dr Feldman qualified from the University of Manchester in 2004 and has been practising as a GP since 2019. Before entering general practice, he spent thirteen years gaining extensive experience in emergency medicine, anaesthetics and intensive care, both in the UK and South Africa, gaining qualifications in South Africa in anaesthetics and Royal College of Emergency Medicine examinations in the UK.
He has a particular interest in accurate diagnosis and safe, thorough assessment, drawing on his extensive acute-care experience to identify red flags, work out what is most likely to be causing a patient’s symptoms, and ensure important conditions are not missed. He takes time to listen carefully to what is troubling each patient and aims to provide clear, considered and practical management plans. Dr Feldman is particularly competent in managing acutely unwell children, having gained lots of expertise in working in Paediatric Emergency medicine departments at registrar level.
Outside medicine, Dr Feldman is a professional jazz bassist having studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. His experience as a working musician gives him a particular understanding of the creative industries and the pressures that can come with them, particularly the mental health aspects and ramifications that are part of such professions.
