Yes. We can prescribe pain relief, anti-inflammatory medications, and recommend physiotherapy or lifestyle changes.

What can I expect during the consultation?

The doctor will take your medical history, examine the affected joint(s), and may order blood tests or imaging (X-rays, ultrasound) to identify the cause.

Should I see a GP or seek emergency care?

You should go to A&E/seek emergency care immediately if your joint pain is severe, the joint is swollen and red, you have a fever, can’t move the joint, or the joint looks misshapen after an injury.

Can you treat joint pain?

Yes. we can assess, diagnose, and treat many causes of joint pain, including arthritis, injuries, and inflammation.
