DocTap now publishes monthly figures on appointment times, test turnaround, clinical quality and patient ratings.

When you choose a private GP, you should be able to see not only what the service costs, but how it is actually performing.
We have launched a new private GP ratings and performance page, bringing together clear information about appointment start times, test turnaround, consultation notes, patient ratings and clinical quality.
The figures will be updated every month, allowing patients to make informed decisions and see how our performance changes over time.
The page reports a broad range of measures, including:
We also report how often our AI-assisted note-writing technology is used. It helps doctors capture the consultation while giving more attention to the conversation, but every clinical note must still be reviewed and approved by the GP.
Patients are often asked to judge healthcare providers using a headline star rating or a selection of reviews. These can be helpful, but they do not provide the complete picture.
Our performance page goes further. It shows how frequently appointments began on time, whether expected rapid results were available during the consultation and how quickly clinical records were completed.
It also includes the date range, definition and relevant context for each measure. This is important because figures such as patient ratings or appointment outcomes can be misleading without an explanation of how they were calculated.
We believe transparency should begin before you book.
Our full price list shows our current standard and DocTap Pass prices, helping you understand the likely cost of an appointment or test in advance.
However, price alone cannot tell you whether an appointment is likely to start promptly, whether results will be ready when expected or how other patients have rated their care.
Our new performance reporting applies the same principle of transparency to the care patients receive. Instead of presenting only selected testimonials or a single headline rating, it provides a broader view of how the service is operating.
That includes areas where we are performing strongly and areas where there may still be room to improve.
Most measures use rolling reporting periods. This provides a more meaningful view of performance and reduces the effect of an unusually busy or quiet week.
Where a measure uses a different period or allows additional time for follow-up, this is explained on the page. Percentages are rounded, and the methodology is included to help patients interpret the results accurately.
Previous updates will remain available so changes can be viewed over time.
We will publish refreshed figures each month.
Regular reporting gives patients an up-to-date view of the service. It also gives our team clear measures to monitor and improve. If our performance changes, the published figures will reflect it.
