Clinical testing partnership managed through DocTap

Why partner with DocTap

One service from testing to clear next steps

Create a repeatable testing pathway from DocTap’s existing range, with professional collection, testing and clinical support managed through one partner. DocTap is a clinical delivery partner to Calibre.

1,000+ tests available

Agree a repeatable selection from more than 1,000 existing blood tests and profiles for your product or programme.

Collection through real clinical sites

Patients can attend any of DocTap’s 11 London clinics for venous blood collection, swabs or other required samples. For suitable programmes, collection can also be arranged through agreed partner-pharmacy sites.

Five clinics with on-site labs

Eligible rapid and same-day tests can be collected and processed at five DocTap clinic locations. Patients attend one of these sites when the agreed pathway requires the faster turnaround.

GP interpretation and next steps

Include GP interpretation, a clear explanation of the results and recommended next steps. A pathway without a DocTap GP can be agreed where clinical responsibilities are clearly defined.

The patient journey

From your product to tested results

The route can be partner-branded and connected to your product, while collection and clinical care take place through the agreed DocTap pathway.

The patient enters through your service
The patient is directed from your platform, programme or membership to the agreed test selection and booking route.
  • 2
    They attend for professional collection
A qualified healthcare professional collects the required blood or other samples at a DocTap clinic. Suitable partnerships may also incorporate agreed partner-pharmacy collection sites.
  • 3
    DocTap manages the testing
DocTap manages collection and testing through the appropriate laboratory pathway. Eligible rapid and same-day tests are completed through the five DocTap clinics with on-site labs.
  • 4
Results are delivered with clear next steps
With patient consent, agreed results can be returned to your product through the agreed workflow. Where GP review is included, a DocTap GP interprets the findings, explains them to the patient and recommends appropriate next steps.

CQC-regulated clinical delivery
DocTap services operate within established clinical governance, with responsibilities agreed before the partnership launches.
Qualified healthcare professionals
Blood and other samples are collected in person by appropriately qualified healthcare professionals.
Laboratory testing standards
DocTap manages testing through the appropriate laboratory pathway, including UKAS-accredited laboratory testing for the broader test range.
Secure, consent-led results

Results returned to your product

With patient consent, agreed results can flow back into your platform through the DocTap API or another agreed workflow.

Managed, API-connected or blended

Start through an organisation account, connect through the healthcare API or combine both approaches where different stages need different routes.

Flexible commercials

There is no minimum patient volume. Partner pricing is agreed around the test selection, patient journey and technical setup.
